Just torturing myself watching Fiesta ST reviews even though I won’t be able to buy one here in the states.
Please Ford, bring an ST version of the Focus Active!

These reviews remind me of when I bought my FiST in 2014. I never drove one, never saw one in real life either but, I watched all these reviews from Europe and ordered one at the dealership. Didn’t regret the decision at all.

Stupid Ford and their stupid not selling “sedans”.

The 2 door isn’t a sedan!

Scalding take: the new STs do nothing for me. Although I don’t like the regular versions of the cars either.

Whoah, really? No more FiSt here? I was looking forward to seeing and hearing this. The current twins sound incredible with an exhaust, so much bass for an I4 somehow. That 3 cyl is probs great too SMH

It’s the general thing sadly, CUV’s are taking over man. Have you seen the Fiesta Active? Not sure if it’s going to the UK too, but it’s starting to show up here

Ye’, we’ve got the Active and Active X already on sale.
((yes that’s a Bowler Land Rover Defender 90 in the back ground*))
Active 1, Active B&O and Active X, £17,800+
But there is also the
Style, £13,600+
Zetec and B&O Play Zetec, £15,200+
ST-Line and ST-Line X, £17,100+
Titanium and Titanium X, £17,200+
and the
Vignale, £20,500+
I can see the Active and the Vignale not being big sellers, ones a little raised and has plastic (may be good for rural owners) and the other is quite a bit more expensive.
These are before the ST comes out.
The Active comes in at a little more than a Titanium which is a well specced car towards the top end of the range. So what would it be a well specced car (Ttanium), a well decent specced with body kit (ST-Line) or something raised with some plastic around the wheel arches Active)? I know I’d forget the last one.

Thanks for the bowler eyebleach. Those fiestas are god awful ugly, and the active just looks bloated like a focus that’s not sure if it’s an S-Max instead.

The Bowler is from a rally series.
I like the new look Fiesta. My only complaint is the DRLs go round the whole unit and the front indicator is a small regular bulb ear the inner edge of the DRL that doesn’t cancel when the indicator flashes, making the indicator quite hard to see.

Yep. I like the outgoing Fiesta. This one, ugh, no.

Hey, we either get ST active or no ST at all! Plus, it’d be kinda fun to have a rally special Focus ST.

No, just no.
Ford has already damaged the ST name with the Edge ST.
If you must, ST the Escape like our Kuga/Escape ST-Line.
But don’t ST a Focus Active, it’s just wrong and a step too far.

Ford is apparently going to ST all the things, I just want the lightest vehicle they sell here to have an ST variant. If it’s the Focus Active then so be it.
I do wish they’d call it an STX which is the Sport trim for the F150, leave ST for the road and get some brand cohesion between their trucks and their other vehicles.

Ford wanted to do the ‘One Ford’, as in one world, one Ford. Offering the same cars in all their markets.
Here in the U.K. we get most of the range and ones we don’t directly get we can grey-import them into the U.K.
Though who would want a Ford F150 Raptor for £108,000 or £124,000 for a Shelby F150 Super Snake.
But in the U.S. (Fords home market) they don’t offer what the rest of the world is getting.

Yeah, it makes me mad. The ST and RS models didn’t sell as well here as in Europe because these are our first ones. Not giving a second generation means that it will never build up the brand equity to be profitable!
